In 1980, Tom Ruger (deceased), head of the law enforcement division of Ruger, authorized the production of 1000 custom Ruger / Police Marksman Limited Edition revolver boxed sets in collaboration with Les Dees, founder of the Police Marksman Association and Gulf States Distributors. This unique set included a Ruger Redhawk. 44 Magnum and a Ruger Security-Six. 357 Magnum and was offered exclusively to members of the Police Marksman Association.

They were presented in a very nice custom-engraved walnut box with red felt inlay. The members paid in advance for the opportunity to own this special pairing.

Not only was it a beautiful set, the Redhawk 44 Magnum was new to the market. The Police Marksman received the second 1000 that were ever made. Even before they released, those who pre-ordered their commemorative set were being offered more than they paid. In Good Used Condition, may have various scratches, this is Not a new.
