When Ford came onto the scene in 1963 the Offy started to loose its domination but it remained competitive thru the mid 1970's by turbo charging. The 2.65 liter four cylinder engine could develop over 1000 Horsepower.
The final Offy victory in Championship racing came at Trenton in 1978 in Gordon Johncocks' Wildcat race car. Very nicely mounted and collectible display, rare limited numbered edition decorative piece for desk or man cave. 6.5 in long by 4. Wide, weighs about 5 pounds and has a nicely finished display plaque with acrylic cover. This is really a quality piece and requires light assembly.
