Both knife and gun honor Chief Crazy Horse, who, to this day, remains the proud symbolic leader of the Sioux Indian Nations. Eleven Sioux Tribes have formed an alliance know as the United Sioux Tribes. The names of these tribes appear on the blade etching.The English translation is found on the mark side of the blade while the pile side has the traditional Lakota spelling. Lotota is the native language of the Sioux. Along with the bust of Chief Crazy Horse, the other scenes depict the life of the Sioux Indians when they lived on the open plains. The Kodiak was chosen for it's design and the Genuine Stag Handles. Deer Stag has special significance to the Sioux.
