Antique Victorian Scottish Brown Leather and Silk Jewelry Presentation Box. Silk velvet, china silk lid lining. Not a large box, but a little gem. (3.75 by 1.75 inches) James Hardy was born in Aberdeen in 1837 and was known as a watchmaker - active 1860's to 1890's. This exquisite small box may have housed a special button or shirt stud.

The pebbled leather exterior shows almost no wear. Unusual highly collectible shape and condition.
