Antique Large Cutlery Canteen Box, 2 Drawers, Collectors Cabinet Display Case, Old

Here we have a large Antique Cutlery Canteen Box, made in England probably in the late Victorian Era or in the early part of 1900s. Large and Heavy Elegant Mahogany or Oak Wooden Case with Vacant Brass Cartouche onto the Lid. It has a Lidded Compartment at the top and 2 drawers at the front.

Bearing an Ivorine label stamped GLADWIN Ltd EMBASSY SHEFFIELD. Brass Hinges in working order. Lock present but no Key, therefore untested.

Case in overall good solid conditions commensurate with age. Marks and scuffs here and there.

NOTE Lower Drawer has broken handle. Felt lining in need of cleaning / restoration. (This would suit a restoration project). This is an empty case with no contents. Dimensions: 46.7cm by 31.3cm, 19.5cm tall.
